We created this video game trailer for the company behind PUBG (now Krafton), located in Korea over the span of 14 days.
In 2017-2018, PUBG: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was the biggest video game in the world., with 1.2 billion downloads, second only to Candy Crush at 2.7 billion downloads.

Back then, LUCIEN MEDIA was a small team. We recorded each scene in private games, with multiple angles captured after.

Why did PUBG choose us to produce the video game trailer for their new event mode, WAR MODE?
The community.
In 2018, PUBG released Replay Mode, allowing players to save and spectate entire gameplays. For fun, we won a game and played the recording back, and wondered… wouldn’t it be cool to make a movie out of this?
And that’s what we did, and we caught some attention on Reddit and YouTube.
